Art from the Lowe Gallery is featured throughout EcoManor. - Whimble Designs. Martha Young and her husband, Jock McQuilkin, are the founders of Whimble Designs, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. Having received both a BA and an MVA, Martha has been trained in art history and subsequently as an illustrator. She is also an experienced art educator. Years ago, she began creating three dimensional figures embellished with antique snippets of lace, buttons, and other interesting materials. She describes her artistic process as "an immersion in an elegant world of enchantment where one fantasy continually connects with the next resulting in a glimpse of an ethereal and whimsical world." Martha Young’s whimsical illustrations are the inspiration for the youngest daughter’s room. Her prints can be found hanging on the wall and her hand crafted lamp is sitting on a side table. - Kim Perry Miniature Dresses. Artist Kim Perry uses vintage items to create sculptural dress forms that exemplify femininity, history and gender. Each creation is handcrafted to the smallest detail with a unique bauble around the neck and stands on an industrial base. Handmade in Georgia, each design will vary slightly.
